February 9 - People Over Plastic Rally and Advocacy Day in Albany

The New York State Legislature opened its 2026 session yesterday. Our priorities are to pass the Packaging Reduction and Recycling Act (PRRIA) and the Better Bottle Bill (BBB) during this legislative session. To that end, Beyond Plastics has organized an Advocacy Day on February 9. Advocacy Days are always exciting and inspiring. Speak to your legislators and make new friends! Our Planet Cannot Wait!

Beyond Plastics has organized free buses from areas in our state. Hopefully our Columbia County Community will organize some car pools of our own. Please share the event widely with other like minded environmental groups that you may also be a member of.
